Congratulations to all skaters who made the long trek South to the new Ice Sport
Southland complex in Gore for the annual South Island champs.
Centaurus won 17 individual events as well as the DB interclub Trophy and the overall most promising skater. One
particularly pleasing aspect is that for the first time that I can remember, the men
picked up as many trophies as the ladies! About time us guys show the girls how
it's really done!
